Dan Dean Productions Releases "Dan Dean Solo Woodwinds" for NemeSys GigaSampler®.

"Dan Dean Solo Woodwinds" a 10 disk library comprised of Bassoon, Contrabassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Flute, Piccolo, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, Oboe and English Horn for GigaSampler®, sets new levels of excellence in playability and sound quality.

LOS ANGELES, USA (January 18th, 2001) – Highly regarded in the music industry, sampling czar Dan Dean announced the release of his new "Dan Dean Solo Woodwinds" CD-ROM library for GigaSampler® and GigaStudio® today. Priced at $549 (US), this trendsetting library features chromatically/multi-sampled Bassoon, Contrabassoon, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Flute, Piccolo, Alto Flute, Bass Flute, Oboe and English Horn. The set is packaged in a custom CD wallet specifically designed for this unique product. Single instruments will also be available at $109.00 per instrument, and if 3 or more disks are purchased at the same time, a custom zipper binder will be included.

All of the instruments were recorded in stereo using our proprietary recording techniques and encoded with Apogee’s UV-22® process.

Each and every note of all of the instruments has been chromatically sampled in up to 6 layers of dynamics (pp through ff). Most instruments include basic legato non-vibrato, legato vibrato, portamento and staccato articulations. Revolutionary programming features developed by Donnie Christian of DS Soundware, allow for longer legato attacks via mod wheel, modwheel crossfading between pp to ff in real time, breath controller access to real time dynamics, mod wheel variable attacks of the staccato samples crossfaded to legato samples, Vibrato, Non-Vibrato, Portamento and Staccato keyswitching, Non-Vibrato to Vibrato Keyswitching and mod wheel, light versions of all the above, polyphonic aftertouch access to dynamic layers, and others.
